This guide is to provide MCC Equine Students with information to enhance their learning experience.

The MCC library offers a wide selection of equine books, magazines, and links to help equine students succeed.

Equine Journals in the Martin CC Library

We have access to approximately 25 electronic equine and veterinary journals, and we also subscribe to the print version of Western Horseman, which is not available in our databases.

Your password for accessing electronic journals or any other database in the library when off campus is your myMartin e-mail login.

Get Help from the Library

  • Visit us in Building 2 during library hours
  • Call us during library hours at: 252-789-0238
  • E-mail us at: library@martincc.edu (We try to respond within 2 hours when the library is open.)
  • Video chat with an MCC librarian during library hours. Call or e-mail us for an appointment.  We can usually help you right away.
  • Use the chat box in the middle of the library home page after hours.  (Chat is available Mon. - Fri. 5 pm to 8 am & Sat. and Sun. 8 am to midnight.)

Equine DVDs in the Martin CC Library

Most of the equine DVDs are available for instructor check-out only, but students may watch them in the library.  The titles highlighted in yellow are the newest additions.
